On September 12, 2024 (Thursday), at the VNU Conference and Innovation Building, 144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi, VNU Center for Education Accreditation (VNU-CEA) organized The Certificate Award Ceremony for the "Constructive Alignment and Technology Enhanced Outcome-Based Education (CATE)" training course. This project was implemented by VNU-CEA, with funding from the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE). Overview of the Ceremony Attending the ceremony from the Center were Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Director, Dr. Tran Huu Luong - Head of the Division of Cooperation and Development, and Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh - Deputy Head of the Division of Education Quality Assessment and Recognization. Representing the international experts were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rozilini M Fernandez-Chung Pfhea, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ranjit Singh Gill from the University of Nottingham, Malaysia. The ceremony was also attended by the CATE course Organizing Committee, VNU-CEA staff, lecturers and assessors from higher education institutions in Vietnam and the National University of Laos. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, in-person and online via Zoom Meeting.
Dr. Tran Huu Luong - Head of the Division of Cooperation and Development announced the Decision to grant a certificate of completion of the CATE Project A total of 20 participants completed the course and were awarded certificates, including 15 participants from Vietnam and 5 participants from the National University of Laos. Notably, 20 lecturers and assessors trained their knowledge on OBE to a total of 46 colleagues at their educational institutions during Phase 2 of the project, including 35 from Vietnam and 11 from the National University of Laos.
